either way…

i remember being that person so caught up in what others thought of me, i lost myself in their expectations. just about every move i made, a well-calculated series of mistakes and mishaps, revolved around ‘what they would think if they knew or didn’t know… (fill-in-your-own-blank-here-because-we-all-know-that-we’ve-done-this)’. it made me miserable. and probably them too. the thing is, people who judge are going to judge you…

for what you do. for what you don’t do.

for who you are. for who you are not.

for what you say. for what you don’t say.

why spend precious life time worrying about what side of the coin the judgey folks are going to come out on? their judgments of you have absolutely nothing to do with you and everything to do with where they are in their lives. let them stay there. do you. figure out what will make you happiest. and do it. without fear or concern of judgment of others… you deserve it. oh, so very much.
